Mark Webb faces backlash over paternity case

Reading through some of the comments in the popular media about Mark Webb’s recent attempt to sue his ex-wife it would seem he has faced a bit of a backlash.
Claims that he is not fit to be the father… (well in this case he actually isn’t the father… go figure) is just feminist tripe.

Well, Duped-dads.com would like to express our solidarity with Mr Webb. He is trying to sue the wayward mother and not the daughter!

It is completely wrong that men should be cuckolded life this. Children should have a right to know who their true biological father is. Paternity fraudsters should be forced to face up to their responsibilities. There is plenty of bad press about dead beat dads and laws to take away their cash and liberties. Why not a campaign against errant mothers? With dna testing the technical solutions are already there. Even prenatal paternity testing is possible now.

But most importantly… let’s make it a crime to deceive fathers into bringing up other men’s children!

Sperm donors with bank accounts

I happened to be reading in Daily Mail about another poor victim of paternity fraud. Nothing unusual there, but this comment really hit home, coming from an ex-police officer.

Being an ex-police officer in UK, I can tell you that the authorities will only ever go for the DNA of the mother in disasters/accidents/terrorsist incidents. This is solely to avoid the 1 (and slightly higher) in 10 fathers in the UK who are not the real fathers. The Freedom of Information Act says you can see all what is investigated, hence the police do not want the details of discovering non-fathers being known. They will only ever take the ‘father’s’ DNA if pushed, and I mean pushed,
Unfortunately, this isn’t rare, but less heard or read about, as the women involved go out to deliberately deceive and it makes it harder for the truth to be known. Worse still they have the law, the Family Courts and that last disgusting cess pool called the CSA, to support them in the deception. Sorry men, you’re nothing but sperm donors with a bank account.

Paternity Fraud victim attempt to claim damages

Paternity fraud victim Mr Webb claims he endured “17 years of lies and deceit” when Lydia Chapman became pregnant by her lover but convinced him that he was the father and not her lover. The 47-year-old is now pursuing her, and the person he claims is her girl’s true father through the courts in a try to claim compensation from them for the cash he spent on raising the girl. His attorney, Nicholas Mostyn, QC, informed the Appeal Court in London the supposed paternity crime case raised “profound questions” about a partner’s “duty of candour”. “Honesty and good religion lie at the heart of the contract of marriage,” he revealed. The court heard the child was conceived during “an act of unprotected sex” between Mrs Chapman and her lover at a hotel in 1985.

But Mrs Chapman, a 45-year-old who is living in Southampton, told her partner that he was the biological father, and when the baby girl was born she was registered as their child.

Judges were told that when she was just 3 months old, her mother and her lover met again at a summer barbecue and had sex in a picnic area.

They are claimed to have debated her paternity and “set out to deceive” Mr Webb into believing he was the child’s father. Mrs Chapman was described as an “inveterate liar” who for many years had a “fixed and certain knowledge” that her husband wasn’t the father of her child. It wasn’t till the girl was 18 years old that DNA paternity tests proved that Mr Webb wasn’t the girl’s father, and his wife filed for divorce.

Mr Webb first launched a claim for damages against his ex and her lover at Bournemouth County Court, accusing them of cheating him about who the girl’s pop was.

But this claim denied by the couple was discharged by a judge. But he added that if it went ahead, it might “visit on the litigants enormous burdens, both monetary and emotional, which are disproportionate to any prospects of success”. The judge, sitting with Lord Justice Aikens and Mr Justice Bennett, concluded : “This entire case can be classified as a setback to all those engaged in it. I wouldn’t wish to be the one to extend their setbacks further.”.

The sole option remaining to Mr Webb is to take his case to the European Court of Human Rights.

DNA test firms profiting from Credit Crunch

Business is booming for a paternity testing firm after a rise in relationship difficulties amid credit crunch financial worries. Sunderland-based Complement Genomics’s dadcheck testing service has received a record number of investigations in the first weeks of 2009.

Business grew continuously during last year but the unique swell in activity since New Year has come as a surprise for chairman Louise Allcroft. She revealed : “We have been shocked at the level of interest in DNA testing following the vacations.

“The level of interest shown obviously suggests that folks see resolution of relationship issues as a high concern.

“We know that this could be a busy time for divorce barristers, and the large number of investigations that we’ve received indicates this also is applicable to paternity.”.

It would seem that fathers are less willing to payout for kids that they have not fathered in these difficult economic times.

Reducing your child support payments

As promised, here are some tips for reducing your child support payments (UK specific). I won’t get into the whole moral issue of whether this is the right thing to do, that’s your choice. For me personally, I would rather have the extra cash and be able to spend it on my kids myself, than support my kid’s mothers and in the one case, her other to new kids (for a married man).

Anyway…

1. Pay more on your mortgage – On the old CSA assessment method, your living expenses will be taken into consideration before maintenance is calculated. This only applies to you if you are on the old assessment system.

2. Keep them overnight as much as possible – If you regularly spent time with your kids say Friday to Sunday, then those two nights should be deducted from your maintenance. Add any additional days you take them away. Two weeks in the sun during the summer, when they stop over during the christmas break. You should be compensated for this so if it works out to 2 nights a week on average, this will net you 2/7th reduction in your maintenance.

3. Take into account travel expenses – If it costs you more than £10 a week to keep in contact with your child, then this can be taken into account. This could include phone bills, or travel expenses to go and visit or have them visit you.

4. Pay yourself in dividends – if you own your own business. It is perfectly legal to decrease your actual salary to a bare minumum of say £5000 and pay yourself if dividends. Earnings derived from shareholdings are not normally taken into account for your assessment and you have no obligation to inform the CSA about them. The CSA don’t normally count dividends paid to a director of a Ltd company, unless the mother asks them to.

5. Don’t brag to your ex-partner – if she thinks you are earning more money she may query this with the CSA, who may come looking and try to assess you based on their perception of your current lifestyle, and look more closely at your finances.

6. Come to an agreement – if she is not a total bi*ch and you can actually come to an arrangement then the best bet would be to agree on an amount between yourselves that is obviously lower than what you would have to pay normally. If this is the case, keep a record of all payments made.

Guys…. this is a warning to you!

Don’t put your name on the birth certificate if they baby is not yours.

You may be liable for child support till that child reaches college age.

For those of you thinking that you will have any rights….. your wrong.
For those of you suffering from Knight in Shining Armour syndrome….
…she’s probably no princess.

fake birth certificate

If your going to get married to a woman that is pregnant with someone else’s child and think your going to have a ready made family then think again. if things fall apart you will only be financially responsible. You won’t actually have any rights over that child.

1 in 5 Child Support Claims are fraudulent

Single moms are purposely naming the wrong person as the daddy of their kids when making financial claims for child support.

Others had so many sexual partners that they are uncertain exactly which one is the daddy, meaning they coincidentally give CSA officers the inaccurate identity. Child support Agency figures show that almost one in 5 of the contested paternity claims it handled last year cleared the person originally named as the daddy.

It’s a criminal offence to make a fake statement or representation and to provide fake documents or info. But, according to the CSA, there hasn’t been a single prosecution of a mum for making a fake claim. It is the highest proportion since the agency started assembling figures nationally. ‘This is an intensely troubling trend and one where correct action should be taken,’ announced Tory work and pensions speaker Chris Grayling. Under CSA rules, a person has to pay maintenance as fast as he is named the kid’s father. He will be able to challenge the ruling by asking for a DNA test, but must pay for it himself. The pricetag, typically £257, is reimbursed by taxpayers if the paternity claim is located to be incorrect, but there’s no comeback on the ma for making a fake claim. The DNA tests involve taking a blood sample or swab of cells from within the cheek. Research by the Tories has demonstrated that of the more than 6,200 absent folks living abroad, only a quarter pay any child assistance and five thousand owe a total of more than £26million.

The soon-to-be ditched CSA is more expensive than £500million a year to run and has a buildup of 121,000 cases. More than one in 3 absent pops fails to pay any upkeep, leaving £3.8billion excellent, of which £2.2billion is ‘probably uncollectable’. The agency is lined up to be replaced by the Child Upkeep and Enforcement Commission by 2013.

A Dep. for Work and Pensions spokesperson said : ‘We have a fair and tough system in place to make sure that where paternity is disputed a DNA test can be brought to create the daddy of a kid. ‘Of the total caseload handled by the CSA in 2007-2008 only 1 % led to a DNA test and the argument was upheld in less than 0.2 percent of cases.

‘The CSA will consider each case on its own merits before making a call to take criminal events against an individual. In each case there would have to be decisive proof to prove in court the girl intentionally named the wrong person as the daddy. ‘The agency would also think about the effect on the well being of the kid of a call to prosecute. ‘.

Changing name after marriage

I posted a interesting story about a emasculated colleague of mine who changed his name to include his wifes name, essentially ending up with a double barrel name.
Now I got to admit he works extremely hard and is often away from home, maybe 3-4 times a month. And of course, being a woman that wants everything.. he needs to earn more money and be at home to help with the baby. A child that is not his, she was pregnant by another man when she married him! He had knight in shining armour syndrome.

Anyway… after less that two years.. he’s been kicked out (no doubt of the home he bought) and is getting a divorce.

Now… what is he going to do with his extra surname? I guess the reason she wanted to keep hers is because she is always getting married and subsequently divorced…. Oh dear…. I guess he should of headed those warning signs.

Tricking men for a meal ticket

My gripe is about females that trick men into parenthood and have children by as many possible men. As these women go on their merry way producing more offspring for the welfare state to support, do they give a thought about anybody’s feelings but there own? Did the man concerned want children with them? They my have been fine for a casual thing, but as the mother of his children, perhaps not! I know.. I know… you was on the pill and forgot to take it… yeah right.. If I had a penny for every time that excuse has been used I’d be a rich man

These despicable women seem to look no further than the next benefit cheque or CSA payment. Their children’s education goes to pot when they decide to chase the next man. Isn’t it time we stopped paying these women to continue the moral and social decline of our countries?

The professional baby mommas who getting pregnant to ensnare a man with money, or to keep a roof over their head. These women are leeches on the men they sleep with and the society that they bankrupt. They need to get of their fat back-sides and stop expecting other people to pay their way in life.

Before you trap some poor man who obviously would never pick you to bear his children, think of the quality of life the child will have coming from a broken family you selfish being.

And guys… lower your standards.. that bird with 3 different kids from different baby fathers is probably good in bed, but do you really want her to have your child?
