Hi there,

Just wanted to drop you all an email to complement on the cartoon and mention on your site. Thank you. We have seen a lot of cases as you can imagine over the years and experience tells us that not all dad's are bad and they do get a rather bad press - and very often unfairly so. As a mother myself, I cannot imagine what it must feel like not to know whether a child is yours or not. But let's remember that at the heart of this is a child - and it's in their best interests that we should always act.

If you are considering a DNA test please do your research thoroughly as the result of this will be with you forever and please take time to consider the consequences of the test result (especially if it is not the result you wanted or had hoped for) not only to you and the child but to your extended family, too. dadcheck is one of a small number of ISO17025 accredited laboratories in the UK and is also on the Ministry of Justice's list of accredited bodies (so you may want to update your list in the site too!). If you have any questions about a test please don't hesitate to contact us - we'd be pleased to answer any questions you may have.
